Designed to stay out of the way

Navigation without living inside a map.

It is designed for map-free navigation, delivering directions through vibrations and minimal on-screen and voice guidance, enabling distraction-free and screen-off usage.

Vibration-based guidance

Different vibration patterns distinguish right turns, left turns and other instructions. Minimal voice guidance is kept aligned with the navigation notifications, while notifications are designed to work well with smartwatches and smartbands.

Map-free compass view

See the route direction relative to your position, with surrounding streets extracted directly from downloaded BRouter segments—without a full map renderer.

Offline-first routing

BRouter handles route calculation and turn generation offline. Internet access is needed only for destination searches that rely on online services.

Battery-conscious

GPS fix acquisition adapts dynamically to the remaining distance to the next instruction, reducing needless high-frequency location work. Navigation is also optimized for screen-off use: when the display is off, unnecessary rendering and processing are avoided to prolong battery life.

Smart destination input

Use history-first suggestions, OpenStreetMap search, speech input, map selection, Google Maps redirect search, or coordinates shared from another app.

Practical trip controls

Add intermediate stops, export GPX data, pause navigation and reroute around a blocked street while keeping background navigation active.

Three ways to navigate

Pick the mode that matches the trip.

BRouter is used when a real route is needed; straight-line mode stays available even without BRouter installed.

01 · Route

Turn-by-turn

Choose a BRouter profile, enter a destination, optionally add intermediate stops, then follow vibration, text and voice guidance along the calculated route.

02 · Round Trip

Circular routes

Plan a circular BRouter route from your current location using a target distance and direction—useful when the journey itself is the destination.

03 · Straight Line

Point and go

Navigate toward the next stop or destination using compass direction, straight-line distance and ETA. No BRouter installation is required.

Small ideas with real impact

Built around confidence, timing and efficiency.

01
Dynamic GPS fix acquisitionLocation polling adapts to the remaining distance to the next direction point.
02
Time-based turn timingManeuver notifications are triggered from estimated time-to-turn using current speed.
03
BRouter-segment street renderingNearby streets come from already-downloaded routing segments, so no separate OSM dataset is needed.
04
Smartband-friendly notificationsNon-permanent notifications and simple Unicode instructions are designed to render reliably on wearables.
05
Recognizable vibration categoriesThree patterns make left, right and other instruction classes easier to identify without looking at the phone.
06
Initial turn orientationAt route start, ViBRo tells you how much to rotate to face the route direction.
